Creating Lifelong Learning Opportunities for Everyone
Choosing the right school for your child is a significant decision and we're here help parents as they consider the options for their child.
We welcome up to 30 children each year into our Reception class and places can be offered in other classes in the school if spaces are available,
Although our admissions criteria prioritise places for pupils who live in Old Stratford, we also welcome some children each year from outside our linked area whose parents have chosen our school.
All school admissions are managed on our behalf by Northamptonshire County Council, who are responsible for allocating places at our school. To apply for a school place, you will need to fill in a preference form online.
Following on from the allocation of places to pupils who have an EHC Plan which names the school as appropriate provision, when there are more applications than places available, priority will be given based on the following criteria in the order stated below.
- Children in public care or previously in public care but immediately after being looked after became subject to an adoption, a child arrangements order or special guardianship order.
- Pupils who live in the linked area for Old Stratford which is defined as Old Stratford village, who have a brother or sister continuing at the school at the time of admission of the child.
- Other pupils who live in the linked area, which is Old Stratford.
- Other pupils who do not live in the linked area and who have a brother or sister continuing at the school at the time of the admission of the child.
Visitors to our school are very welcome. Please contact us if you would like to make an appointment to meet the Head of School, Mrs K. Sarbutts and have a tour of the school.
